The Shenzhen Electric Power Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Association") was established in 1988 and was approved by the Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau to prepare for its establishment. It is a local, self-discipline, industry oriented, non-profit organization composed of voluntary participation from various power enterprises in Shenzhen, and has the qualification of a social organization legal person.

The association's member units cover the main enterprises in the field of energy and power generation, power supply, power design and construction, power equipment manufacturing, and comprehensive energy in Shenzhen. It is a highly professional local social organization and an important exchange and service platform for the power industry in our city. The association currently has 132 member units, including 1 president unit, 8 vice president units, 29 director units, and 3 supervisory units. The chairman's unit is Shenzhen Power Supply Bureau Co., Ltd.

The association always adheres to the rule of law and regulations, has a sound internal governance structure, information disclosure system, and democratic supervision system, has a good social reputation, and has a certain influence and credibility in the industry. The association has always adhered to the principle of "serving the government, industry, and members well", continuously improved its institutional mechanisms, strengthened its organizational structure, talent team, and service network construction, and became a bridge and link for communication and coordination between the power industry, the government, and society. It has played its due role in consolidating industry strength, serving the overall situation of the industry, safeguarding the reasonable rights and interests of the industry, and promoting harmonious development of the industry.
